- Where are you moving from and to?
– Of course, we need to know where is the destination you are heading to and also the picking up location in Vietnam to give you the idea shipping rate.
– Both destinations should be detailed enough for more precise rate.
- When is your moving date?
– It is important information because some persons ask to move their stuffs in June but in fact they will come to destination in July. The shipping cost might be changed monthly.
- What type of service are you looking for?
– There are 2 main types of service : door to port and door to door. Normally customer who require the international moving service will choose door to door which they do not need to clear the custom.
– However, in some cases with sea freight, customer might clear the custom and arrange the inland trucking by their own when they find the cheaper way.
- Do you need insurance?
– For personal belongings, insurance is not recommended because the items are used and shipping lines or couriers do not offer insurance or the procedure is more complicated.
– In case the package is lost or damaged, without insurance normally the carrier will compensate 3 times of shipping cost.
- Do you need professional packing?
– Professional packing is required , especially when customer has many different kind of dimension boxes. They need to be palletized or made in wooden case to prevent from any loss or missing.
